Washington Irving Intermediate School houses grades 3, 4, and 5. With a diverse range of academic opportunities, including STEM, Social Emotional Learning, and Enrichment programs, we strive to prepare our students for a successful future.

Now serving as the Principal of Washington Irving School since 2024, and having been an assistant principal here since 2019, and staff developer here since 2012, I am truly honored to continue to collaborate with a remarkable community of educators and students.  Embracing a lifelong learning mindset, I continually seek opportunities to stay abreast of current trends and best practices, enabling me to effectively contribute to the growth and development of our school.

Our students are at a crucial stage in their lives, as they embark on a journey of self-discovery and identity formation. Building strong connections with each student and their families is a cornerstone of my approach. By understanding their unique needs and aspirations, I can provide the necessary support and guidance to navigate this critical period.

I am deeply committed to cultivating responsible individuals who possess the confidence and resilience to thrive not only in middle school but also in their future endeavors. Together with our dedicated team, I strive to foster an inclusive and empowering learning environment that nurtures every student's potential.
